    Communications Volunteer

    Born with almost no control over how and with whom they live their lives, women and girls in Rajasthan, India are finding ways to leap over barriers based on class, caste, and gender through the programs of the grassroots Indian organization Sambhali Trust. Our team at Sambhali U.S. is proud to support their efforts and honored to tell the stories of the women and girls of Sambhali.

    We are looking for several positions to support Sambhali U.S.'s communictions.

    Content Writers to help us tell the stories of the women and girls in Rajasthan, India. We welcome your creativity and passion to help American audiences understand the barriers of caste, religion, class, and gender these women and girls face--and how they are finding ways to leap over those barriers through programs run by the grassroots Indian organization Sambhali Trust. You will be working virtually with other writers and editors around the country.

    Responsibilities:

    • Suggesting content for newsletters, blogs, email communications, and social media.
    • Completing writing projects, meeting deadlines, and following content requirements in terms of style and project specifications.
    • Conducting research on Rajasthan India.

    Skills:

    • Excellent writing and communications skills are important.
    • Knowledge of India and women's empowerment a plus but not required.
    • Understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) best practices is helpful.
    • Passion for the mission of Sambhali U.S.

    Google Ads Manager to utilize our our Google Ads Grant to generate traffic for our website sambhalius.org with the goal of converting visitors to donors and volunteers.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop, test, and implement Googe Ad strategy.
    • Share weekly Google Ad report and refine strategy to increase generation of donors and volunteers.

    Skills:

    • Past experience with Google Ads and Google Ad Grants for non-profit organization
    • SEO experience preferable
    • Passion for the mission of Sambhali U.S.

    Administrative Support to foster our abiity to collaborate.

    Responsiblities:

    • Assist in organizing and maintaining internal communications for the Sambhali U.S. Communications Committee using Microsoft 365.

    Skills:

    • Expertise working with Microsoft 365, particularly SharePoint and Teams
    • Passion for the mission of Sambhali U.S.
