Make & Donate Fleece Blankets for People in Need Around the World!

Lifting Hands International (www.lhi.org) sends large shipping containers of aid to help people in need around the world every month! We are in need of any kind of blankets to send to many countries (Ukraine, Jordan, Bangladesh, and more!). You can make or purchase any kind of blankets, any size. But larger sizes for adults are preferred. Most groups prefer to make blankets by purchasing 1.5 yards of fleece and then cutting the edges into strips and tying them into a knot.

This is an ongoing need, so you can donate blankets any time. There is no deadline.

Or you could ship donations through an organization called Give Back Box. It allows you to ship most any size of boxes for only $20, up to 70 pounds to any charity that is registered with them. You simply go to the link below, select the charity you want to donate items to (Lifting Hands International), find an old amazon box or some other type of box, and print the label and drop it off to UPS!

Here are some instructions:

1) Pack your donations in a sturdy box.

2) Maximum size limits: 70 lbs and 108" (length (longest side) + girth).

3) Use this link: https://givebackbox.shop/products/lifting-hands-international

4) Click "Add to Cart" for each box you want to ship. Each box is $20

5) Complete the check-out process

6) Print your label(s) which will include the shipping address. 7) Attach the label(s) to your box(es) and drop them off at any UPS store

NOTE: if you are printing multiple labels and shipping multiple boxes, the tracking number will be the same for all boxes. It is fine if you send them that way, but If you would like different tracking numbers, please email info@givebackbox.com and let them know.
