    Description

    The Reston Multicultural Festival returns to Reston Town Center on Saturday, Sept. 20 to celebrate Reston's rice diversity through song, dance, crafts, art and community engagement.

    The Festival takes place from 11am to 6pm with a full day of entertainment and activities that includes global music and movement representing vibrant tapestry of diverse traditions and influrences, and craft artisans offering beautiful, high-quality, unique pieces.

    We need volunteers to support the larger footprint. Volutneers are an essential part of the festival. Volunteers will receive a festival t-shirt, lunch and snacks during their service shift.

    8 shifts available:

    • Volunteer Leads - Management, non physical role, will acclimate new volunteers to their roles and locations.Must be 18+: Saturday September 20, 2025 - 09:30 to 12:30 EST
    • Set-up & Opening Ceremony - 16+ |unload vehicles, help with crowd control as entertainers walk down Market St. hep vendors set up: Saturday September 20, 2025 - 09:30 to 12:00 EST
    • Zone 3 - 18+: Saturday September 20, 2025 - 10:00 to 13:00 EST
    • Volunteer Leads - Management, non physical role, will acclimate new volunteers to their roles and locations.Must be 18+: Saturday September 20, 2025 - 12:00 to 15:00 EST
    • Zone 1 monitor - 18+ - Ambassador, answer questions, give away swag, offer exhibitors water and bathroom breaks: Saturday September 20, 2025 - 12:30 to 15:30 EST
    • Volunteer Leads - Management, non physical role, will acclimate new volunteers to their roles and locations.Must be 18+: Saturday September 20, 2025 - 14:30 to 18:00 EST
    • Zone 3 monitor - 18+ - Ambassador, answer questions, give away swag, offer exhibitors water and bathroom breaks: Saturday September 20, 2025 - 15:00 to 18:00 EST
    • Breakdown - 16+ Take down signs, load vehicles, remove lines from tables: Saturday September 20, 2025 - 17:30 to 20:00 EST
