    Volunteers Teaching English

    You don’t have to be a native English speaker to volunteer for this project. You will have to be flexible, open-minded, and proactive. In our community we do not have qualified foreign language teachers. Volunteer help fills this gap and complements the local education system.

    Directions

    Huancayo is located in the central part of the Peruvian Andes, in the central part of the Cordillera de los Andes.

    Ahuac (where we are) is about 37 minutes away from Huancayo by taxi in the western part, we are in a rural place away from the noise and not a tourist place. Huancayo is the capital city of the Junín region. It has an elevation of 3300 m.

    Instructions:

    Volunteer as an English teacher in Matapuquio-school. Use your knowledge of the English language and share it with the Peruvian children. You will have our assistance, organize lively and interesting lessons, and actively contribute to the education of the Peruvian children.
