    Volunteers can commit to the full day (9:00 AM – 2:30 PM) or choose a shift: 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM (Set-Up & Vendor Help), 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM (Registration, Panel, Break Support), or 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM (Activities, Raffle, Clean-Up).

    Volunteer Opportunity: Support a Meaningful Community Event!

    Join us in making a difference at the 2025 Black Maternal Health Week Event hosted by Stillborn And Infant Loss Support and the City of Laurel! We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers to help ensure a smooth and impactful event for our community. This is a great opportunity to give back, gain experience, and connect with others who share a passion for service.

    📅 Event Details:

    • Date: Saturday April 12
    • Time: 9:00am - 2:30pm
    • Location: City of Laurel Multiservice Center 204 Fort Meade Rd Laurel, MD 20707

    Volunteer Roles Available:

    Set-Up Team – Help arrange tables, chairs, and signage before the event.

    Registration & Guest Services – Greet attendees, check them in, and distribute materials.

    Vendor Assistance – Support resource vendors with setup and logistics.

    Panel Discussion Support – Assist speakers and facilitate audience engagement.

    Activity Support – Help manage interactive sessions like yoga, drum circles, and line dancing.

    Raffle & Close-Out Team – Coordinate giveaways and assist with event wrap-up.

    Clean-Up Crew – Help restore the venue to its original state post-event.
