Kitten and Cat Fosters

Join the Love Me True Rescue foster team. Help us hand raise orphaned kittens, nursing and injured cats. Fostering is a volunteer opportunity where you provide essential care to our cats/kittens in your home, while LMTR covers all medical costs. Foster opportunities include but are not limited to: bottle babies (0-4 weeks old), weaning kittens (4-6 weeks old), kittens eating on their own (6+ weeks), kittens/cats needing socialization, cats nursing kittens, pregnant cats due to give birth, senior cats, medically needy cats/kittens (injuries, illness), and more!

Advocate for your fosters by alerting the foster coordinator of any medical issues. Meet with Foster Coordinator on Fridays between 10am-1pm at our rescue for routine and wellness checkups.

Must be available to transport foster cats/kittens to our preferred Veterinarian for sick checkups and spay/neuter surgery.

Must be available to bring fosters to our rescue on Saturday’s for adoption days (drop off 10:30AM to 10:45AM and pick up 3pm).

We ask our fosters to take clear, well-lit photos of adoptable cats/kittens for use on social media.

The foster commitment is typically until the cat/kitten has been adopted although exceptions can be made to this as needed. We are a small rescue with group rooms for adult cats, and all kittens remain in foster homes until adopted.
