Join Our Board: Help Empower Youth Through Education and Community Impact

Dynasty’s United Youth Association (DUYA) is a 501(c)(3) community-based nonprofit dedicated to empowering underserved youth to rise from poverty to prosperity. Our mission drives our two cornerstone programs:

1. DUYA Academy: Providing academic and social-emotional interventions to K-12 students 3-5 years behind grade level.
2. DUYA Institute: Offering a youth apprenticeship program in partnership with local community colleges to train, hire, and place youth (ages 16-24) in entry-level academic and administrative positions.

With an annual operating budget of $350,000 to $400,000, DUYA serves approximately 275 students annually across 6 community and school-based sites. Our dedicated team of 10-12 staff members is committed to creating pathways for youth success. As we expand our programs, including our new education apprenticeship initiative, we are seeking passionate and skilled individuals to join our board and help us achieve long-term sustainability and impact.

1. Board Chair Officer - Part-time (in-person and/or virtual), volunteer position
2. General Board Members (Strategic Plan Focus) -volunteer position
3. General Board Members (Communication and Outreach Focus) -volunteer position
4. General Board Members (Legal) -volunteer position
