    Description

    Community Development

No specialized skills are needed. Be able to handle youth, inspire them to reach their potential, and be environment-friendly while working with local farmers.

ACRO Ghana began in the Dormaa District in 2004 and expanded to Kukuo, Dodowa, Abora Obohen, Domenase, and Medina. However, we scaled back to Dormaa due to volunteer leaders leaving and insufficient funding. https://www.acro-ghana.com; https://www.facebook.com/acroghana; Companies Code, 1963, with Registration No. CG047610722 and Tax Identification Number (TIN) C0062002384.

Within the District, we currently have six youth football communities and continue to receive requests to expand into additional areas. To support this initiative, we are seeking two volunteers with an interest in football training and coaching, as well as assisting in the establishment of community organic farms.

Volunteers should be eager to engage with the community, enjoy Ghanaian cuisine, and be committed to residing within it. There is no age limit, but volunteers must be physically capable of walking short distances where vehicles may not be available.
