Description
Are you highly organized and passionate about people? Help us build and support our volunteer force! As a Volunteer Manager, you’ll assist with onboarding new volunteers, tracking hours, and supporting team leads in assigning tasks. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys logistics, communication, and team building.
Time Commitment: 1-2 hrs/week | Hybrid (virtual + occasional in-person)
Key Responsibilities- Recruitment & Outreach: Actively recruit volunteers through online platforms, community outreach, and partnerships with local organizations.
- Training & Onboarding: Track training sessions for new volunteers, ensuring they are well-prepared and informed about their roles and responsibilities.
- Volunteer Coordination: Manage scheduling, assign tasks, and ensure adequate staffing levels for events and projects.
- Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for volunteers, answering questions and providing ongoing support and feedback.
