    Description

    One Room Schoolhouse

    Like History? Like Education? Like helping students? Adult volunteers needed!

    Help School groups experience an authentic 1888 school day. Weekdays from January to June an exciting program is held at The Museum of the San Ramon Valley's 1888 Tassajara Grammar School.

    Volunteers open the school and prepare for that day's lessons. They supervise parking and safety, help with recess activities and close the school for the day.

    Training is provided.

    Share your love of history. Volunteer shifts are 8AM to 10:30 and 10:30 to 1PM. You can volunteer for one or both shifts per day. We can use as many shifts or as few as you can give.
