    About Us

International SEVA is a nonprofit dedicated to community service, health, and education initiatives. We are launching a New Project at senior centers and need an experienced Funding & Events Specialist to secure grants, donations, and execute successful fundraising events.

    Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated Funding & Events Specialist to research and apply for grants, coordinate fundraising efforts, and plan engaging events. Previous fundraising events, including online auctions, walkathons, and basketball tournaments, had minimal success, so we need strategic planning and execution to improve outcomes. The specialist will also manage and coordinate volunteers for fundraising initiatives and community programs.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Grant Writing & Fundraising - Research funding opportunities, write compelling grant proposals, and build donor relationships
    • Event Planning & Execution - Organize fundraising events (e.g., online auctions, walkathons, basketball tournaments) with improved marketing and outreach strategies
    • Volunteer Coordination - Recruit, train, and manage volunteers for fundraising and nonprofit initiatives
    • Donor & Sponsor Outreach - Develop partnerships with businesses, sponsors, and community organizations to support fundraising efforts
    • Campaign Development - Implement new and innovative ways to raise funds through digital campaigns and community engagement

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience in grant writing, fundraising, or event planning
    • Strong skills in marketing, donor relations, and nonprofit development
    • Ability to plan and execute events with measurable results
    • Experience in volunteer coordination and team management
    • Passion for community service and social impact

    Benefits:

    • Make a meaningful impact in local communities
    • Flexible hours - work on your schedule
    • Gain experience in nonprofit fundraising and leadership

To Apply: Submit detailed experience in an email or a resume and a cover letter highlighting your experience in fundraising, event planning, and volunteer coordination.
