    Description

Project Manager (Volunteer) – Interview Coordination (Philippines)

    Maya’s Hope Foundation – Remote

    About Us:

Maya’s Hope is a nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of children living in extreme poverty and with special needs. We provide medical care, education, and emotional support to children in the Philippines and Ukraine. We’re looking for a compassionate and organized volunteer to help manage our interview process for families applying for assistance in the Philippines.

    Role Summary:

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Project Manager (Volunteer) to coordinate and track interviews for applicants in the Philippines. This role is essential to ensuring we connect with families efficiently and consistently, and that all relevant information is documented for review.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage the schedule of interviews with applicants and volunteers/interviewers.
    • Track the status of each interview (scheduled, completed, follow-up needed, etc.) in our project management system (e.g., Airtable or Trello).
    • Ensure all interview notes and supporting documents are properly filed and accessible.
    • Communicate with volunteers to confirm availability and assign interviews.
    • Identify any missing information and coordinate with families to gather it.
    • Provide weekly updates to the team on interview progress and bottlenecks.

    Qualifications:

    • Strong organizational and project management skills.
    • Excellent communication and follow-up abilities.
    • Experience with project management tools (like Trello, Airtable, or Asana).
    • Compassionate and culturally sensitive—especially in dealing with families in crisis or need.
    • Availability to commit at least 5–10 hours per week.

    Bonus:

    • Prior experience with nonprofits or international aid.
    • Familiarity with the Philippines or Tagalog-speaking is a plus.

    Why Volunteer With Us?

You’ll make a real difference in the lives of children and families by helping us move applications through faster and more efficiently. You’ll be part of a passionate and dedicated global team working to bring hope to those who need it most.
