    About Us

    Spirit of Our Lord Ministries, Inc (SOLM) founded in April 2021 is a startup 501(c)(3) Christian public charity that provides humanitarian aid to the most vulnerable populations in the developing world. SOLM envisions: “A world in which all people in developing countries are able to realize their full God-given potential.” To that end, SOLM will partner with Christian nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) in developing countries to achieve its mission:

    “To share the love of Christ in the developing world by providing physical and spiritual support to disadvantaged people. SOLM will partner with local communities to empower vulnerable populations in obtaining food, housing, and vocational training.”

    Position Overview

    We are looking for a Volunteer Chief Operations Officer (COO) to oversee daily operations, streamline processes, and develop strategies to increase both revenue and volunteer engagement. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Christian leader with a heart for service and a vision for organizational growth.

    Key Responsibilities

      • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the organization's mission and goals.
      • Operational Management: Oversee and improve internal processes, ensuring efficiency and sustainability.
      • Revenue Growth: Assist in fundraising, donor relations, and identifying revenue opportunities through grants, partnerships, and events.
      • Volunteer Engagement: Recruit, train, and manage volunteers to support the organization's programs and initiatives.
      • Financial Oversight: Work with the executive team to manage budgets, financial planning, and resource allocation.
      • Partnership Development: Establish and nurture relationships with churches, businesses, and community leaders to strengthen support.
      • Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to nonprofit regulations and best practices in governance and operations.

    Qualifications & Skills

      • Strong commitment to Christian values and the mission of the organization.
      • Experience in nonprofit leadership, operations, or business management.
      • Proven ability to develop and execute growth strategies.
      • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
      • Fundraising and financial management experience preferred.
      • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
      • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
