Help out at a pop-up book sale at The Parks at Walter Reed

Carpe Librum will be popping up at The Parks at Walter Reed for a fundraising book sale on Saturday, August 23 and Saturday, November 15! We will need volunteers to help us set up and break down the tables and bookshelves for this fundraising event. This is a great opportunity to spend an hour or two supporting literacy and education in the DC public school system.

Can you lend a hand?

• The first shift is from 9am-10am, helping to set up the tables and shelve books according to category.
• The second shift is from 4:30pm-5:30pm, helping to break down the tables and pack up books.
• You'll be a great fit for this opportunity if you're comfortable working outside, and can bend, reach higher shelves, and lift heavy boxes.
