    Role Overview

    The Social Media Marketers for NESA-Africa 2025 will lead digital campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, TikTok, WhatsApp, and Telegram to mobilize engagement for the Awards. Your primary mission is to build awareness, drive participation, and grow the waiting list to 200,000 active users in 4 weeks - while sustaining broader engagement through to the Grand Finale in December 2025.

    You will create and promote compelling content that highlights nomination, voting, donations, endorsements, ambassador sign-ups, and local chapter membership.

    1. Africa Icon Blue Garnet Awards (Non-Competitive, Lifetime Impact)

    • Africa Education Philanthropy Icon of the Decade

    • Literary & New Curriculum Advocate Africa Education Icon of the Decade

    2. Blue Garnet & Gold Certificate Awards (Competitive, with Public Voting & Judges)

    • Best CSR in Education (Africa Regional)

    • Best CSR in Education (Nigeria)

    • Best EduTech Organization in Africa

    • Best Media Organization in Educational Advocacy (Nigeria)

    • Best NGO Contribution to Achieving Education (Nigeria)

    • Best NGO Contribution to Achieving Education for All (Africa Regional)

    • Best STEM Education Program or Project (Africa Regional)

    • Creative Arts Industry Contribution to Education (Nigeria)

    3. Platinum Certificate of Recognition Awards (Non-Competitive, Institutional & Leadership)

    • Best Education-Friendly State(Nigeria)

    • Best Library in Nigerian Tertiary Institutions(Nigeria)

    • Best Research & Development Contribution by Research Institutes(Nigeria)

    • Christian Education Impact Award(Africa Regional)

    • Islamic Education Impact Award(Africa Regional)

    • Best Political Leaders’ Educational Support Services(Nigeria)

    • Best International & Bilateral Contributors to Education(Africa Regional)

    Key Responsibilities

    • Drive social media campaigns to generate nominations, votes, and donations.

    • Recruit and onboard local chapter members, ambassadors, and judges.

    • Build daily/weekly content and storytelling posts around assigned award categories.

    • Grow and sustain the waiting list to 200,000 participants in 4 weeks.

    • Collaborate with the Chief Volunteer Officer (CVO), digital content creators, and local chapter leaders.

    • Provide weekly performance reports (engagement growth, referrals, conversions).

    Qualifications & Skills

    • Strong digital marketing skills (organic + paid ads).

    • Proven ability to scale audience/community growth campaigns.

    • Creativity in developing engaging visuals, videos, reels, and captions.

    • Familiarity with education advocacy, CSR, NGOs, and Pan-African campaigns is an advantage.

    • Excellent communication, consistency, and accountability.
