Fundraising Volunteer

Position Overview:

Mita Project is seeking passionate and motivated Fundraising Volunteers to join our team and help us achieve our fundraising goals. The Fundraising Volunteers will play an integral role in supporting our campaigns, building relationships with donors, and helping to promote our cause through various outreach efforts.

Responsibilities:

• • Assist in developing and implementing fundraising strategies for different campaigns.
  • Engage with potential and current donors through social media, email, and other communication channels.
  • Help create compelling content (emails, social media posts, blog articles, etc.) to promote fundraising efforts.
  • Research and identify new opportunities for outreach, including matching gift programs, corporate sponsorships, and online giving events.
  • Track and report on fundraising progress, helping to adjust strategies as needed.
  • Assist with donor acknowledgment and stewardship activities to maintain positive relationships.

Skills and Qualifications:

• • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and online fundraising tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for social impact and desire to contribute to a meaningful cause.
  • Previous experience in fundraising or volunteer work is a plus, but not required.
  • A positive attitude, creativity, and willingness to learn.
