Twin Cities Light The Night Volunteer Opportunities

At The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light The Night we gather as a community to celebrate, honor, and remember those touched by blood cancer.

We would not be able to Light The Night without the help of our volunteers and encourage you to join us as we bring light to the darkness of cancer.

Once you have signed up on Volunteer Match, a member of the LLS staff will reach out to find out more information about which roles you are interested in. Below are some examples of event day volunteer positions:

• general set up
• lantern assembly
• hand out t-shirts
• hand out lanterns
• route monitor
• glam station
• remembrance area
• kids zone (must pass background check provided by LLS)
• and much more!

Whether you are able to volunteer for a little bit or for the whole day or evening, we have a spot for you.

• General set up and lantern assembly: Saturday September 27, 2025 - 11:00 to 16:00 CST
• Lantern and t-shirt distribution, vendor booths, kids zone, etc.: Saturday September 27, 2025 - 16:30 to 20:30 CST
• General clean up: Saturday September 27, 2025 - 19:00 to 22:00 CST
