    Description

    Support Older Adults at Medical Appointments -  Become a Patient Navigator!

    Patient Navigator is a flexible volunteer opportunity where volunteers accompany older adults to medical appointments. Your role includes discussing what questions seniors may have prior to the appointment, accompanying them to the appointment, ensuring their questions are answered, and documenting the visit on the required forms. Travel to doctor's offices in the Metrowest area, with occasional optional visits in Boston (mileage reimbursable). Training provided. 4-12 visits per year, approximately 4-5 hours for each appointment.
