Help solo agers with dementia! (flexible scheduling)

Are you looking for an impactful but flexible volunteer opportunity?

Volunteers are needed to provide much-needed services for people with dementia who live alone. Help make a difference in the lives of people who have little to no support.

Volunteers may choose to provide one of more of the following services:

• • Make social calls (or)
  • Provide short, friendly in-home visits (or)
  • Make in-home Food Bank deliveries (or)
  • Provide transportation to medical appointments, social gatherings, and other destinations (or)
  • Assist with grocery shopping

Volunteers may choose one or all areas in which to assist solo-ager clients, who are individuals with dementia who live alone and desperately need such critical supports. This position is very flexible, and is a wonderful way to help someone in your community get the in-person support they need.
