Hello Welcome to the New World "We" are All Living In.

Please think about spending some very needy telephone time with someone who would greatly benefit from you sharing your stories with them. If you are like many, you are home and may be looking to keep yourself busy. This is a terrific opportunity to be able to share with an older person who is also very alone.

I have a lovely and very funny older adult who has been homebound before this virus began. But, since the virus is ongoing the older adult is even more isolated due to friends and her family not being able to visit.

We are Community Agency for Senior Citizens, Inc. also known in Staten Island as CASC.

This is the Friendly Visiting Program which is funded through the New York City Department for the Aging.

CASC services many older adults throughout the Staten Island community. We would have you complete a telephone visit a client in your own home community. The telephone visit is for at most one hour per week.
