    Description

    WEHAF - Let's build equal opportunities for the most vulnerable Tanzanian women and their families 🧡

    We are a community of more than 50 women and we warmly welcome volunteers with backgrounds in one of these fields: business, health, counseling, nutrition, fashion design, gender rights, or education.

    We have different projects and we currently support hundreds of people in several vulnerable groups:

    • widows
    • single mothers
    • women living with HIV/AIDS
    • adolescent girls
    • children

    We are looking for professional volunteers who can lead workshops lasting at least one week for groups of 10–20 women, focused and skilled on one between the following topics:

    • Business design: help women develop sustainable business models and gain entrepreneurial skills.
    • Mental health: support women in building self-awareness, confidence, and emotional well-being.
    • Nutrition: teach healthy eating habits to improve the health of both women and their children.
    • Sewing & fashion design: co-create new product lines with our team of 50 trained seamstresses to expand our impact and generate income for the project.
    • Health education: doctors or social workers to educate women and girls about menstrual hygiene, cancer prevention, HIV/AIDS awareness, and diabetes care.
    • Education & Tutoring for the children of these woman

    We also need volunteers with the following skills:

    • Marketing experts: for WEHAF website updates and social media management.
    • Fundraising professionals: to help WEHAF in secure donations, partnerships, and sponsorships.

    If you need accommodation, we ask a little contribution of 10$ per day that include bad in our simple, little but nice hostel, breakfast, lunch and diner!
