    Hand sewing and embroidery experience, working with a sewing machine, fine motor skills for cutting. Donations such as, fleece, thread, yarn, and cotton materials are welcomed. At home opportunities available as well.

    PIH Health Sewing Volunteers - DOWNEY

    Do you have a passion for sewing, knitting, crocheting, or embroidery? If you do, then this match might be for you! We are looking for experienced individuals who would like to volunteer their time to making crafts such as pillows, blankets, and more for our beloved patients. Depending on the project at hand, the sewing group member or home sewer may do all of the following tasks or focus on a specific aspect of an overall project. Area of focus may include: tracing, embroidering, cutting and matching fabrics, stuffing, pinning, pressing, and sewing. Your contribution makes a difference!
