    Description

    Role Summary:

    This volunteer will support International Relief Teams marketing and outreach goals by helping maintain accurate local business listings, assist with Google visibility, and create content for social media. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, interested in digital marketing, and passionate about humanitarian work.

    Responsibilities:

    Local SEO (via BrightLocal):

    • Review International Relief Teams local business listings and flag inconsistencies
    • Assist with citation updates (manual or through provided access)
    • Monitor changes and note when listings are corrected
    • Help review Google Business Profile for updates, reviews, and insights
    • Suggest monthly posts or photos for GBP

    Social Media

    • Use provided templates (e.g., Canva and Later) to draft and schedule posts
    • Monitor engagement and flag meaningful comments or DMs
    • Help organize, repost, tag photo/videos

    Skills & Tools:

    • Interest in marketing, nonprofit work, or communications
    • Familiarity with Canva
    • Basic knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram)
    • Training will be provided for BrightLocal
