Social Media Manager Volunteer
The Social Media Manager Volunteer will play a crucial role in ensuring that Inner City Bliss maintains a consistent and impactful online presence by scheduling and posting content created by the organization. This role is ideal for individuals who are organized, detail-oriented, and familiar with social media scheduling tools. The Social Media Manager will coordinate with the team to ensure content is published in alignment with the organization’s outreach goals and engagement strategies. This position is perfect for someone who is passionate about mindfulness and wellness and has the technical ability to manage the flow of digital postings across multiple platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule and post content provided by the Inner City Bliss team across social media platforms, including Instagram and Facebook
- Monitor social media platforms to ensure posts are live and appear as intended
- Communicate with the team to address any issues related to scheduled content or platform functionality
- Assist with maintaining a consistent posting schedule to ensure maximum audience engagement
Requirements:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail
- Familiarity with social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook.
- Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Buffer, or Plann) is highly preferred
- Passion for supporting wellness and mindfulness programs, particularly for BIPOC communities
- Ability to volunteer time and energy to manage and oversee consistent content posting
