    Description

Transportation Volunteers for Older Adults Needed
We have three different programs that we use to assist seniors and adults with disabilities: transportation, in-home connections, and caregiver respite. All of our services are provided at no charge by volunteers.
We are in need of transportation volunteers all across Wake County. Transportation volunteers provide escorted round-trip rides for those who don't drive, can't use public transportation, and have no one to help. To help with this vital service the volunteer would need a car, a good driving record, and 2-4 hours of time per ride. Volunteers determine when and how often they drive.
