More than ever, refugee and immgrant families across the country face immense challenges-from reaching the U.S. safely to finding the support they need to thrive. Caring neighbors are essential at every step.

WelcomeNST empowers neighbors like you to step up and form Neighborhood Support Teams (NSTs) to support families both arriving from abroad and those already here who now face new risks, providing guidance, housing, and a welcoming community.

WelcomeNST supports families in two ways:

• Welcoming from abroad: NSTs ensure safe arrival, housing, and a warm community from day one.
• Standing by those in the U.S.: NSTs provide stability, connection, and practical support to families facing new risks.

Forming an NST means:

• Gathering a team of caring neighbors
• Organizing into committees for housing, fundraising, and support
• Raising funds to cover essentials
• Finding housing in your community

You’re never in this alone. Every NST-in-formation is assigned a personal mentor whose sole focus is to mentor and guide your team every step of the way.
