    Description

    Resilience, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to improving the mental health of students, as well as reducing mass shootings, suicide, and depression. Resilience, Inc. also works to combat declining test scores, low student engagement, and a slew of other social issues.

    Our organization focuses on offering Social Emotional Learning tools to enable K-12 schools to teach emotional intelligence through 5 core topics: self-awareness, self-control, social awareness, relationship management, goal setting & effective decision-making. We also provide tools for acquiring and maintaining inspiration, hope, social beings, and overall well-being.

    Our mission is to teach SEL tools at every school in the country. It is a tough challenge, but we know “No Challenge, No Change.” If you are also concerned about children’s mental health and social well-being, join us!     Daily Expectation

    As a CAD Designer, your daily expectations will include:

    1. Report to the Director of Research and Development.
    2. Attend regular development meetings
    3. Conduct structural analyses on the CAD Model
    4. Use software to create detailed 2D or 3D designs for projects.
    5. Incorporate feedback into 3D model designs
    6. Make revisions to models as requested
    7. Keep up to date on modern advancements in material and software technologies.
    8. Analyze data and situations and come up with creative solutions.
    9. Utilize available databases of material property information to best select materials for modeling.

    Requirements:

    To fulfill the role successfully, you should meet the following requirements:

    1. Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree program in business administration, communication, management, or a related field.
    2. Ability to communicate effectively with artists, designers, and other engineers.
    3. Work independently.
    4. Someone to create 3D models in CAD software; ex. Solidworks, Autodesk software.
    5. Ability to work on a team and attend weekly remote meetings.
    6. Reliable, punctual, and pays attention to details.
    7. Consistently communicate with team members.
    8. Process eagerness to learn and an open mind to improve critical skills.
    9. Receptive to improving problem-solving skills.
    10. Objective learning.
