    Description

Please join our volunteers help the environment by removing ice plant and other invasive plant species from Bodega Head State Park. Ice plant is not native to California and outcompetes our native plants by smothering them and robbing them of sun and nutrients. Our group is open to all ages and requires no previous experience. Most people find removing ice plant fun and highly rewarding as you can see the results of your work within weeks, as the native plants fill in, where the ice plant is removed. Please "express interest" so that we can let you know where we are working within the park.
