    Event and Community Engagement Coordinator, Kits Programs - Denver

    Job Title: Event and Community Engagement Coordinator (Kits for Kids)

    Work Location: 10377 E. Geddes Avenue, Ste. 200, Centennial, CO 80112. This is a hybrid volunteer position.

    Summary of position: The Kits Events and Community Engagement Coordinator will work alongside the Director of Kits Programs based in Centennial, to coordinate and lead Kits for Kids events locally and across the country. This position will oversee additional volunteers who assist with community engagement, inventory of supplies, and preparing for and hosting events. This role requires a high degree of organization, attention to detail, self-motivation, and professionalism.

    Responsibilities and Duties:

      • Support Kits for Kids event planning and host Kits for Kids events locally.
      • Support Kits for Kids marketing and community engagement strategy.
      • Give community presentations about Project C.U.R.E. and Kits for Kids.
      • Manage Kits for Kids supply inventory locally.
      • Always maintain a clean and safe work environment.
      • Report any injuries, accidents, or potentially hazardous situations immediately to the supervisor. If a direct supervisor is not immediately available, report to any Project C.U.R.E. staff member.

    Qualifications:

      • Strong leadership and people skills, comfort with cold calling new partners.
      • Basic knowledge of computer and email technology.
      • Willingness and ability to train volunteers.
      • Excellent customer service skills.
      • Attention to detail is essential.

    Hours: 3-5+ hours per week preferred during business hours M-F 8-5. Some weekends and evening hours may be needed for events.
