As a Companionship Volunteer, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Spend time with patients in their homes or at facilities like nursing homes and assisted living centers.
- Offer social and emotional support through friendly conversations, reading, or simply being a comforting presence.
- Provide much-needed respite for family members, allowing them the chance to step away for errands or self-care.
Do you have a special talent or skill? Share it! Whether it’s playing an instrument, singing, or crafting, you can brighten a patient’s day in a unique way.
Your presence can make all the difference, creating moments of joy, connection, and peace for patients and their families. Flexible schedules and full training are provided to ensure you feel confident and prepared for this rewarding role.
