If you enjoy social media, content creation, and storytelling from the comfort of your home, this is a great opportunity to gain experience in nonprofit communications, social media management, and digital engagement.

    About Us:

Arrival Aid Foundation is a non-profit dedicated to supporting immigrants and refugees as they settle into their new communities. Through hands-on workshops, tours, and community engagement, we aim to build a strong sense of community and promote dual integration, ensuring that newcomers feel connected, informed, and welcomed in their new environment. We also work to bridge the gap between newcomers and local residents, helping to build a network that can reduce feelings of isolation or marginalization.

    Responsibilities:

    • Create and schedule engaging social media content (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
    • Help build our social media presence through engaging posts and creative campaigns
    • Create and manage polls, surveys, and other interactive content to foster engagement
    • Monitor and respond to messages, comments, and inquiries on social platforms
    • Assist in coordinating and promoting Q&A sessions with newcomers
    • Support awareness campaigns and online event promotions
    • Work with our team to ensure messaging aligns with our mission and values
    • Track engagement metrics and suggest ways to improve outreach (optional)

    Ideal Candidate:

    • Strong written communication skills with English fluency
    • Solid experience and understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, X, LinkedIn, etc.)
    • Passion for immigrant and refugee support
    • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
    • Experience with Canva Pro is an asset

    What You'll Gain:

    • Practical experience in nonprofit communications
    • Portfolio-worthy social media and content projects
    • Networking opportunities in the immigration/nonprofit sector
