    Oakland Zoo - Zoo Ambassador

    Want to help Oakland Zoo in our mission to deepen connections with animals, save wildlife, and inspire champions for the natural world? Join us as a Zoo Ambassador!

    Zoo Ambassadors assist guests and enhance the guest experience, paving the way for guests to engage with our animals and our mission. Key tasks include greeting guests, helping guests with wayfinding, informing guests of amenities, and asssisting with special events. Being a Zoo Ambassador is a prerequiste to becoming a Docent at Oakland Zoo.

    Zoo Ambassador applications for Fall 2025 are due on August 19, 2025. Fall 2025 training dates are September 20, September 27, and October 4. Zoo Ambassador candidates must attend all three days of training.
