    Description

    Food Rescue Hero

    Do you care about fighting hunger in your local community? Become a food rescue hero! Northern Virginia Food Rescue (NVFR) is currently in need of volunteers who can pick up and deliver designated donations to people facing food insecurity in Prince William County. Deliveries are scheduled using a smartphone app so Food Rescue Heroes can volunteer at times that best suit their schedules.

    Volunteers will need

    • A reliable form of transportation
    • A cell phone
    • A valid driver’s license
    • Good communication skills
