Why Is Furaha Day Care Centre Important?
In Tanzania, children can only access primary school if they have basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills. This requirement excludes children from impoverished backgrounds. At Furaha Day Care Centre, we do not charge fees, ensuring that orphans and children in difficult circumstances receive free early education.
We started in 2021 with 16 students. Today, we serve 37 children divided into three groups: Baby, Middle, and Top classes. The children receive free breakfast and lunch and participate in various lessons, including math, Kiswahili, English, and art, taught through engaging songs and activities.
