    We are seeking a skilled Orthopedic Technician to join our team as a volunteer. The ideal volunteer will work in orthopedic center of Berhan Lehetsanat, including applying and removing casts, braces, and splints, maintaining orthopedic equipment, and educating beneficiaries on device usage.

    Instructions:
    • Key Responsibilities:
    • capacitate the junior orthopedic technician of the organization
    • Apply, adjust, and remove orthopedic devices (casts, splints, braces)
    • Educate parents/ children with disabilities on orthopedic care and device maintenance
    • Maintain accurate records and documentation
    • Ensure orthopedic equipment is properly maintained and stocked
    • organize training for rehabilitation workers to further advance their knowledge

    Qualifications:

    • Certification or relevant training in orthopedic technology
    • Experience in a healthcare setting (preferred)
    • Strong attention to detail
    • interested to support children and youth with disabilities
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a medical team
