Project Manager - AI Study Group and Speaker Series

Accessible Community is looking for a project manager to help with its newly created AI-Study group and speaker series. Potential topics include disability inclusion in AI, privacy and AI, and the current state of bias in AI. The study group/series will be open to other Accessible Community volunteers and leaders who are interested in exploring various AI topics. Some sessions will also be open to the public. The group will meet the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month.

The project manager’s responsibilities include:

• Plan, organize, and facilitate the AI study group sessions focused on specific AI topics, ensuring relevance to the needs and interests of participants.
• Research, identify, and invite AI thought leaders, researchers, and professionals to participate as speakers. Handle communication, agreements, and logistics.
• Ensure that all presentations, meeting materials, and speaker recordings are properly archived and accessible.
• Drive participant engagement through social media, newsletters, and follow-up communications, ensuring a continuous connection with the AC community.
