Volunteer at WAA's & QYA's MoCo Back to School Booth

We Are Artistic, in collaboration with Queer Youth Assemble, is looking for passionate volunteers to help run our booth at the MoCo Back to School Festival! Our booth will be hosting an interactive activity where festival-goers can create and decorate personalized cards for trans kids-sharing messages of love, support, and solidarity for queer youth.

What you’ll be doing:

• Assisting attendees in decorating and writing empowering messages on cards for trans kids
• Engaging with fair guests to share the mission of We Are Artistic and Queer Youth Assemble.
• Providing information about how individuals can get involved in fostering a safe and inclusive community for queer youth. Also, how can get involved supporting We Are Artistic.
• Helping with booth setup, organization, and takedown

Who we’re looking for:

• Enthusiastic, friendly, and compassionate volunteers who are passionate about art, queer youth, and creating a supportive environment for all
• No art experience necessary-just a willingness to connect, engage, and share positivity
• Volunteers eager to help create a welcoming and inclusive space where every individual feels seen and valued

What you’ll be doing:

• Helping guests decorate and write messages of support on cards for trans kids
• Engaging with festival attendees about our mission and the importance of supporting queer youth
• Assisting with setup and takedown of the booth
• Providing a welcoming and inclusive space for all participants

• No specific art skills needed-just a positive attitude and a willingness to interact with others!
