Support Survivors of Sexual Violence in Middlesex County!

The Middlesex County Center for Empowerment is looking for individuals age 18 and over who want to support survivors of sexual violence. No experience is necessary!

We provide a free 40+ hour Confidential Sexual Violence Advocate training that prepares advocates to answer our 24-hour sexual violence hotline and accompany survivors to forensic examinations, police stations, and court. Advocates provide compassionate, non-judgmental emotional support, as well as information and resources to survivors and their loved ones. Volunteers must live in or near Middlesex County, New Jersey; have their own reliable transportation and cell phone; and consent to a background check. Bilingual individuals are encouraged to apply!

Our next 40+ hour CSVA Training is scheduled for March 2025 on Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings/afternoons in Piscataway, NJ.
