    🐢 Join Our Turtle Nesting Patrol in Sal Island, Cabo Verde!

    When: 12–19 October 2025

    Where: Costa Fragata Beach, Sal Island, Cabo Verde

    Fee: €275

    Spend a week in a unique Turtle Camp, helping protect endangered sea turtles during their nesting season! Volunteers will patrol the beaches at night, collect important data, and assist lost turtles safely back to the sea.

    Live in tents, share meals, and experience a hands-on conservation adventure with a committed international team. No previous experience required — just passion for wildlife and nature!

    Location: Kite Beach Coastline, J454+67Q, South East Coast, Santa Maria, Cabo Verde

    Getting to the Camp:

    • Volunteers will be picked up from Santa Maria (town center or designated meeting point) and transported to Costa Fragata Turtle Camp.
    • The camp is located on Costa Fragata Beach, one of Sal Island’s main turtle nesting areas.
    • The pick-up ensures safe arrival and guidance, so volunteers do not need to arrange their own transport.
    • Use the Plus Code J454+67Q for reference if needed.

    Tip: Bring sun protection, comfortable shoes for sandy terrain, and water for the journey.
