    Description

    In-Home Support for Seniors

    In home support seeks to alleviate social isolation and depression that often accompanies the physical and emotional challenges facing older adults and adults with disabilities who are homebound. Volunteers provide friendly visits in person or on the telephone. In addition volunteers can provide chore services. This includes help around the house, grocery shopping, or reading/sorting/organizing paperwork.

    Some assignments may also be suitable for pairs, teams, or families to perform.

    Needs are located throughout ALL of Wake County.
