    Description

Seeking volunteer film makers for a non-profit grassroots news organization.

    Who are we?

Get Real News exits to address the news deserts of America. Founded by Heidi Przybyla, an award-winning journalist who previously worked for Politico, USA Today and MSNBC, we exist to provide real news to Americans, on real issues that matter to them, across social media.

    Why do we exist?

We have entered a time of media misinformation. It is now harder than ever to know who to trust and where to look for real news. We aim to unite forces with local influencers, journalists, and film makers to address this deficit.

We are seeking film makers that want to tell real stories on issues that matter to them.

    What we are looking for?

Volunteer film makers local to Michigan and Pennsylvania who can shoot and edit short form content to address social issues within their neighborhoods. This content will then be posted to social media across our channels.

Our thematic areas include: Health, Money, and Education.

    What can we offer?

Publication of content across all of our social media channels, inclusive of our founder's channel, Heidi Przybyla, who has a following of

16k on Instagram and 13k on Facebook.

We can't wait to work with you!

We look forward to hearing from you
