If you have daytime hours on your hands and like to drive, this may be the right role for you! You would provide daytime transportation to seniors (age 60 or older) and adults with disabilities in Wake County, NC. Primarily for medical appointments and other essential needs (e.g., groceries, pharmacy, bank).

Transportation is the most often cited unmet need. This program provides volunteer services for escorted and door-through-door transportation for medical appointments, prescription pick-up and grocery shopping. All riders will be able to transfer in/out of your vehicle. Transportation is done in your own vehicle and can take up to 3 hours per appointment.
