    Description

    Volt Europa is ambitious and is looking to scale up, to do that we need to secure more funding. Our funding will come from High Net Worth Individuals, Foundations and crowdfunding. A critical part of the process is identifying or prospecting opportunities and this role will help us do that. Through desk based research the Fundraising Researcher will identify solid leads for Volt Europa; mainly High Net Worth Individuals. The role will also help match potential grant making foundations to the different projects within Volt Europa. There is scope for this role to also get involved with other aspects of fundraising including crowdfunding, events, communication.

    What we look for in you:

    • Someone who is really organised and can keep track of the work they do in an ordered way
    • Someone who can think strategically; linking their research to the work of Volt
    • Someone who is curious and other people’s backgrounds, interests, business and knows how to find out about them and understands or is willing to learn about the complexity around philanthropic giving
    • Someone is passionate about contributing to Volt Europa’s mission
    • Someone who is flexible and can work in a startup environment

    What we offer you!

    • This is voluntary position carried out remotely. We can reimburse travel costs if attending events
    • You will be part of a dynamic team of other highly experienced volunteers working on fundraising
    • Opportunities to learn about fundraising systems and processes

    • Networking opportunities through attending events, working with others in Volt and through the research work
