Volunteer Mentors Needed: Make A Difference In A Youth's Life

Coffee With A Cause empowers disadvantaged youth by matching them with

volunteer mentors for support in job hunting, retention, and life skills.

Mentors guide and support youth who have experienced foster care, homelessness, or involvement with the justice system. Your commitment would involve one monthly in-

person meetings for a year, with additional check-ins by text and phone. All youth are in or near Pasadena, CA. All volunteer mentors undergo a background check and training.

Research shows that having a trusted adult in life can have a profound impact on a

youth’s life. Our program boasts a 95% success rate for our program graduates in

finding employment after our program, but we know that isn’t the end of the story.

Pairing interns with a mentor can support them in not only finding employment, but

maintaining employment, and in navigating the basics of becoming independent.
