    Who We Are

At Creshendo, we believe that everyone deserves a chance to belong, rebuild, and rise.

We co-create solutions with displaced communities—always listening, collaborating, and centering lived experiences. Fueled by integrity, empathy, and curiosity, we’re building innovative and inclusive programs that reimagine what’s possible for displaced people everywhere. If you’re excited to challenge the status quo and help transform lives, you’ll feel at home here.

    Why This Role Matters

Your contributions aren’t just tasks—they’re stepping stones in someone’s journey to self-sufficiency, dignity, and belonging. Every role at Creshendo plays a part in creating inclusive communities where displaced people can rebuild and thrive.

As our Volunteer Research Assistant – Turkey, you’ll help us advance Creshendo’s Research Agenda by generating evidence-based insights into the refugee experience. Your work will support long-form publications and advocacy that influence refugee protection, integration strategies, and inclusive policies.

    What You’ll Be Doing

    • You’ll conduct literature reviews and gather data, ensuring our research reflects the latest evidence on refugee issues in Turkey.
    • You’ll support survey development, interviews, and qualitative research, helping amplify refugee voices and lived experiences.
    • You’ll collaborate with internal teams, refugee representatives, and academic partners, enabling stronger research partnerships and impact.
    • You’ll help structure reports and long-form papers, ensuring our findings are clear, rigorous, and accessible for publication.
    • You’ll track research activities and maintain documentation, supporting effective planning and timely publications.

    What You Bring

    • A mindset for creative problem-solving—you love experimenting with new approaches.
    • Openness to diverse perspectives—you know the best ideas come from collaboration.
    • A background in research, social sciences, migration studies, public policy, or related fields.
    • Fluency in both Turkish and English (required).
    • Strong analytical, writing, and organizational skills.
    • Experience with literature reviews, data collection, or research methods (qualitative/quantitative).
    • (Preferred but not required) familiarity with academic research methods or data analysis tools.
    • Passion for refugee rights, inclusion, and evidence-based advocacy

    What You’ll Gain

Joining Creshendo as our Volunteer Research Assistant means you’ll:

    • Contribute to meaningful research that informs refugee policy and protection strategies.
    • Gain hands-on experience in nonprofit research, data collection, and academic writing.
    • Build networks with researchers, policymakers, and humanitarian professionals.
    • Work flexibly in a supportive, inclusive, international team that values bold ideas and diverse voices.

Even if you don’t tick every box, if you’re passionate about impact, innovation, and inclusivity—we’d love to meet you.
