Do you want to spend your time doing something meaningful, joyful, and a little bit magical? Come volunteer at Silver Lining Riding, a nonprofit equine-assisted services program in Peoria, AZ, where hope walks on four hooves and transformation happens in every lesson.
We serve individuals with disabilities, veterans, first responders, and youth through adaptive riding and groundwork programs. Our horses are gentle teachers, but they need a village and that’s where you come in!
Volunteer Roles Include:
Side-walking with riders during adaptive riding lessons
Grooming and tacking horses
Assisting with barn chores and facility upkeep
Helping at special events and fundraisers
Providing warm smiles and steady encouragement
No horse experience? No problem. We’ll train you!
Must be age 14+ and willing to commit to at least one 2-hour shift per week. We offer weekday and weekend volunteer opportunities.
Why Volunteer With Us?
Because at Silver Lining, every moment matters. You’ll be part of something bigger than yourself-helping riders reach new goals, forming incredible friendships, and witnessing the healing power of horses firsthand.
✨ Volunteers often tell us: "I came to make a difference, but I’m the one who’s been changed."
