We Are Beautiful Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that empowers individuals and families impacted by the criminal justice system to develop confidence and prioritize mental health through mentorship, education, and accessible support services.
We’re looking for a research-minded volunteer to help us strengthen our Reentry Resource Packet and Support Group Workbook with real-world, justice-centered insight. Your contributions will directly support our mission by helping us build tools that are trauma-informed, culturally relevant, and deeply supportive of the reentry process.
In this role, you will:
Research reentry checklists, guides, and tools (e.g., housing, employment, ID access)
Suggest quotes, stories, or real-world insights for our workbook or packet
Share resources that support healing, dignity, and practical next steps after release
Help ensure our content is rooted in real challenges and resilience
Ideal for:
People with lived experience, students in criminal justice or law, reentry advocates, or individuals passionate about justice reform. No formal credentials required - insight and integrity matter most.
Time Commitment:
~2-3 hours/month | Flexible | Remote
