    Description

Newnan Kate's Club- Grief Support for children and families

Mission of Kate's Club: Kate’s Club empowers children and teens, their families, and young adults facing life after the death of a parent, sibling, caregiver or someone important to them. We work with grieving families, providing social, recreational, and therapeutic activities to help create a positive grief journey.

Vision of Kate's Club: A world where it is okay to grieve.

The Newnan Clubhouse hosts bi-monthly engagements for grieving children and caregivers. Newnan programming includes one Family Night each month along with one Clubhouse Sunday. The Newnan Family Night & the Newnan Clubhouse Sunday is hosted at South Crest Church. We are looking for volunteers to help with both programming. Volunteers are required to complete a volunteer application & attend a New Volunteer Orientation to be eligible to participate. We are looking for volunteers to commit to at least one program each month.
