    Description

    Grocery Rescue Driving

Every day we receive crucial donations from grocery stores in the area which allow us to serve our neighbors. Right now, we need drivers to drive these donations over to our warehouse using our vans.

With our Home Delivery Program, volunteers pick up pre-made boxes from our location in Lake City to deliver to neighbors in the area. This is a weekly volunteer position that requires some training and at least a 9-month time commitment. Additionally, volunteers are required to have a valid driver's license, be comfortable lifting heavy boxes upwards of 20 pounds, and be available for a regular 1-2 commitment on either Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday mornings between 8-11am.

Interested in working with us? For more information, please email volunteers@northhelpline.org or call us at (206) 413-8271. We hope to hear from you soon!
