About Us:
Dulce Vida Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving California and Mexico. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome sick, abused, and abandoned dogs and cats. We also provide spay and neuter services through local clinic partnerships and promote responsible pet ownership within our communities.
Role Summary:
As a Volunteer Team Assistant, you’ll work closely with the Manager of Volunteers to support our amazing volunteer community. Your role includes:
- Assisting with onboarding new volunteers, including preparing welcome materials and Slack invitations
- Creating and updating volunteer onboarding guides and resources
- Organizing volunteer records and contact lists
- Supporting volunteer engagement
- Assisting with other ongoing projects

- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Passion for animal welfare and community building
- Self-motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable using basic tools like Slack, Google Sheets, and email
